I am an Associate Professor of German and Conrad Humanities Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
My research areas include Twentieth- and Twenty-First Century German Literature and Culture; Literature of Migration; Turkish-German Literature; German-Jewish Literature; Literary Multilingualism and Translation Studies; Transnational Studies; Gender Studies; and Holocaust Studies.
